studio KU+ is an architectural model workshop based in Amsterdam founded by Kaita Shinagawa in 2009. We provide architectural design firms with high quality scale representations of their projects or proposals.

Kaita Shinagawa is an architectural model maker and designer. He studied Environmental design at Kobe design university in Japan. The study covered furniture design and interior design as well as architecture and urban planning. Prior to going to Kobe Design University, He studied basic of design and art at Sapporo School of The Arts in Japan.

Kaita honed his skills & talents while working for 3 years as the senior model maker at Claus en Kaan Architecten in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Before moving to Europe, he worked in Japan at Tanseisha Co. Ltd in Tokyo, Nikken Sekkei Ltd. in Nagoya, design+art creators group TUMKUM in Nagoya/Tokyo. His work has been exhibited at the Spiral Independent Creators Festival in Tokyo and Chaos 2002 in Kobe, Japan.

His models are high precision works, representing the idea and concept of the architect and visualized by his own unique sense of creativity. His aim is to create architectural objects that stimulate and enchant people.
